My Wheel Name is a free, browser-based spinning wheel for picking names, making decisions, and settling anything a group can't agree on. Type in names, load a preset, or import a class roster, then spin — one wheel, one fair answer, and nobody can blame the person who picked. The core tool is free, runs entirely in your browser, and doesn't require an account. Signing in is optional and only needed to save wheels or share them with a link. There is no paid tier: every preset, customization option, and game mode is available to everyone.

The site is operated by Monaross, trading as My Wheel Name — the same operator named in our Privacy Policy. It is an independent project built and maintained by a small team that uses the wheel for the same things you do: classroom picks, giveaway draws, movie nights, and the eternal "where are we eating" debate. Everything published here — presets, guides, and articles — is written and reviewed by the team that builds the tool, so feature descriptions match how the wheel actually behaves.

Every spin uses your browser's cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), not the weaker Math.random() many casual tools rely on. Every entry has an equal chance on every spin unless you deliberately add weights; there is no streak memory, so no outcome is ever "due"; and spins are computed on your device — we don't log individual results on a server. Preset data comes from clearly identified sources: TMDb for movie pickers, the Open Trivia Database for trivia wheels, Google local data for Nearby Places, and curated team lists for sports wheels.
