My Wheel Name
My Wheel Name is a free wheel-spinning tool built for the small, recurring decision problem that everybody has and nobody enjoys. Names, decisions, teams, classroom turns, party games, raffles, picking a restaurant when nobody will commit — the wheel takes the choice off your plate by making it for you, with a satisfying little spin in the middle. There's no account required to use it, no paywall on the core features, and no "pro tier" gating anything basic. Under the hood it's more than a single spinner. You can drop names into the standard wheel, run two wheels at once for pairings and schedules, load any of the presets (yes/no, coin flip, dice, random number, colour shades, trivia, sports teams, movie picks, nearby places), and customise just about every surface — segment colours, button colours, sounds, weights, winner behaviour (single pick, multi pick, or eliminate-after-pick for raffles). Names can be typed, dragged in, pasted from a list, or imported from Google Classroom or a CSV. The whole thing runs in the browser. Picks use a cryptographically random source so every entry genuinely has an equal shot unless you've weighted it on purpose. Save a wheel to "My Wheels" once you've got it the way you like, then share it with a link so a classroom, team, or group of friends can spin the exact same setup without recreating it. Works on phones, tablets, and big screens, which means the wheel that decides date night on a couch is the same wheel a teacher projects in front of thirty students. If you spend a few minutes setting up a wheel that actually fits how you use it, it tends to stick around as the tool you reach for the next ten times the same kind of decision comes up.
Is the Wheel Free to use?
Yes. The wheel runs entirely in your browser, no account required for the basic spin. Sign in only if you want to save custom wheels or share them with a link.
Can I customise the wheel?
Yes. You can edit the entries, change segment colours, add weights so certain options come up more often, switch sounds, and pick winner behaviour (single pick, multi-pick, or eliminate-after-pick).
Is the spin actually random?
Yes. The result uses the browser's cryptographic random source, so every option has an equal chance unless you've weighted entries. There's no house bias and no remembered "due" outcomes.
Can I save and share my custom wheel?
Yes. Sign in to save a wheel to "My Wheels," then use the share button to generate a link. Anyone with the link can open the exact same wheel — useful for classrooms, group decisions, and remote teams.
