What Is the Random Premier League Team Generator?
The Random Premier League Team Generator spins through all 20 current top flight English football clubs and picks one for you.
Big Six, mid table, newly promoted, surprise relegation candidates: every team carries the same weight unless you change it. It's the version of pick a team that nobody can accuse of being biased.
How to Use the Random Premier League Team Generator?
- 1
Open the Random Premier League Team Generator. All 20 clubs load with equal odds, Arsenal, Aston Villa and Bournemouth among them.
- 2
Trim the field if your game calls for it: take Arsenal out for an underdog run, or keep only the clubs still in contention.
- 3
Press SPIN. The wheel settles on one of the 20 and the result card names your Premier League club.
- 4
Drawing for a group? Turn on Remove Winners so Crystal Palace cannot come up twice, then spin once per person.
- 5

What Is on the Premier League Wheel
The wheel holds the whole Premier League field: 20 clubs, each with an identical slice. Arsenal, Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Brentford, Brighton and Hove Albion and Chelsea are among them.
Equal slices mean the Premier League draw does not quietly favour the clubs you would expect it to. Arsenal comes up exactly as often as Crystal Palace, which is the part that matters when the result has to look fair to everyone watching it land.
At 20 clubs, the Premier League wheel leaves room for a group to take one each and still have something to offer the last person. Turning on Remove Winners narrows the field as you go, which keeps the later picks meaningful instead of handing somebody a club that has already gone.
The Premier League roster tracks the 2026/27 season and is refreshed from the league data each week, so a club arriving or leaving shows up on the wheel without anyone editing it by hand.
20 Teams, 38 Games, No Playoffs
The Premier League's structure is worth knowing before you let a wheel assign you a club. Twenty teams play 38 matches each, home and away against everyone, and the most points wins. No playoffs, no postseason, and the table is the truth.
The bottom three are relegated to the Championship every season, replaced by three promoted clubs. That relegation trapdoor is what makes a random assignment genuinely dramatic, because drawing a newly promoted side means a season of survival mathematics rather than silverware.
The league formed in 1992 when the top flight broke away from the Football League, and in the thirty or so seasons since, only one club has gone a whole campaign unbeaten: Arsenal's Invincibles of 2003 and 2004. If the team the wheel gave you finishes anywhere in the top half, you're entitled to act like it was skill.
Tips for Fair Draws
Save your spin once teams are assigned so nobody can spin their way out of a relegation candidate.
If you want to skew the wheel toward European hopefuls or relegation battlers, edit the entries and the wheel respects the new list. The picker updates as the league changes seasons.
